A new study out of the Ninewells Hospital and Medical School in Dundee, Scotland, concludes that when a bunch of kids jump on a trampoline at once, the smallest one has the greatest likelihood of eating crap. The study then notes that the risk of a trampoline injuries is greater when the supervising adult is drunk.
I'm serious. This isn't a joke. Click the link to MedicineNet.com and see for yourself.
What chaps me the most about this report is that my 4-year-old daughter and her cousins staged the exact same study last summer and came up with the exact same results. However, their findings were completely ignored by the medical community. Apparently, studies aren't taken seriously when published in crayon.
And no, I wasn't the drunk supervisor.
That's almost as hilarious as A.O. Scott's review of Angels & Demons in the NY Times. ;)
