I was rifling through the fridge the other day when I found some two-week-old bread pudding my friend had made. It smelled alright, so I ate it. Delicious.
When my mom found out, she blew a gasket. (Yes, my mom. I am, after all, the Fitness Nerd.) I tried to reason with her that is was wrapped in foil, so it was probably fine.
That was a week ago, and I'm still alive.
Anyway, I bring this up because there was an interesting article on the CBS News website about how long you can eat food past the "sell-by" date and I thought y'all would be interested.
